Greene County High School had three students sign letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the next level on Monday in the school’s auditorium.

Three Greene County High School (GCHS) football players – Dayshawn Copeland, Jamarion Evans, and Chris Lowe – participated in an athletic scholarship signing ceremony on Feb. 7, officially committing to play next season at Shorter University, Georgia Military College, and Berry College, respectively.

Greene County High School’s Chris Lowe will have the opportunity of a lifetime this Sunday in Atlanta.

Greene County will host Hancock Central this Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the first round of the GHSA state playoffs.

The Greene County football team lost its first game of the season to Aquinas l last Friday in a close 14-10 dogfight.
