Harrowing motorcycle chase along I-20 ends with crash

Morgan County deputies chased down a speeding motorcycle that began fleeing from law enforcement on I-20, continued across half a dozen surface streets and ended when the motorcyclist was forced into the grass by a deputy and crashed.

BOC hears zoning requests on livestock, subdivisions

The Morgan County Board of Commissioners met at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning for its first meeting in the month of October. The meeting first began with board chairman Ben Riden opening the meeting by discussing the consent agenda.

Miller running for BOC District 1 seat

A former Reserve medic and Greensboro resident is running for the District 1 seat on the Greene County Board of Commissioners in the Nov. 8 election. Melanie Miller, 54, hopes to take Angela Deering’s seat for one of the largest districts in the county.

Dual Vision debuts at Eatonton’s Barrel 118

Since 2017, The Artisans Village Guild has collaborated with the Associated Photographers of Lake Oconee photo club for the Dual Vision: Art Through Different Eyes exhibition. This year the number of participating artists was larger and the artwork and photos were better than ever.
