Tigers quiet Screaming Devils on the road

The Greene County football team continued to stay perfect last week with a 34-6 win over Warren County. The victory marked the Tigers’ seventh of the season and second in region play.

Greene County crowned as victors in Homecoming game over Towns County

The Greene County football team spent its Homecoming weekend in good spirits after getting a dominant win in its first region game of the season. The Tigers defeated Towns County 47-0 and kept their undefeated season alive by moving to 6-0.

Tigers win war of attrition over Patriots

Greene County was able to avenge last year’s loss by defeating Oglethorpe County 14-7 last Friday in a closely contested game.

Tigers wax Warriors to stay perfect

Greene County started its season off on a mission, and it continued at Wilkinson County this past Friday. The Tigers (4-0) dominated the game from start to finish, defeating the Warriors 41-6 in Irwinton.

Tigers rout Hancock Central behind strong performances by Miller, Mullens

Greene County played its first road game on Friday at Hancock Central and came away with a 43-6 victory. It was the Tigers' third-straight win over the Bulldogs, and head coach Terrance Banks told the Lake Oconee News that he thought his team played well throughout the game.

Tigers top Bulldogs, snap losing streak

The Greene County football team has started the 2023 season out well, with its most recent success coming against the Morgan County Bulldogs. The Tigers hosted head coach Clint Jenkins and company at Tiger Stadium for both teams’ second game of the year and walked away with a 24-14 victory.
