According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers made an arrest on Friday, Dec. 2 after a traffic stop in which a passenger became verbally aggressive as officers attempted to gather his information.

Wanted man nabbed with plethora of drugs

A man wanted by four law enforcement agencies in Georgia on charges ranging from kidnapping to rape was arrested by Greensboro police officers Nov. 1, according to Chief Rodricus Monford.

Halloween in Greensboro

The Madison and Greensboro Police Departments teamed up to put an end to a pursuit that began on West Broad Street during the early morning hours of Sept. 30. According to the GPD, officers were patrolling West Broad Street when they spotted a car traveling without headlights on.

Greensboro police officers made two significant arrests last week following traffic stops, according to Police Chief Rodricus Monford. The first occurred on Aug. 30, while officers were patrolling the area of East Broad Street. Officers saw a man driving without his seatbelt on.
