MORGAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT Robert Ezra Jenkins, 44, of Porterdale was arrested on Feb. 1 and charged with disorderly conduct. According to reports, Jenkins got into an altercation with his stepson and caused a disturbance at a Rutledge campground.

MORGAN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE Morgan County Deputies responded to the Madison Pentecostal Church on Morris Road on Jan. 25 to investigate an alarm going off. Deputies discovered that the front door was not secure, and it appeared someone had been attempting to do work on the alarm panel.

MORGAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT Morgan County deputies were dispatched to Sandy Creek Road address on Jan. 11 regarding a possible automobile theft. The complainant said his white F-350 was missing from where it had been parked in the driveway at his mother’s house. It was last seen on Dec. 26.

According to Greensboro Police Chief Rodricus Monford, an Ingles employee was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident on Cunningham Road after leading police officers on a five-mile chase following an incident at the grocery store.

A Madison man who has been arrested in Greene County multiple times was arrested again on New Year’s Eve after deputies found him on the property of the Exxon station on East Broad Street, a business he had been banned from by police in the past.
