Mardi Gras on Main brings Bourbon Street to Greensboro

The Greensboro Business Association (GBA) is looking forward to its inaugural Mardi Gras on Main event on Feb. 18, in downtown Greensboro. The event will include a jambalaya and gumbo cook-off, with public tasting and voting beginning at noon, followed by a 3 p.m. awards ceremony.

According to reports, Deputy Eli Franks responded to Dunkin Donuts on Jan. 24 in reference to a disorderly customer. Deputy Franks made contact with the store manager, who told him that a customer, later identified as 37-year-old Tara Stewart of Greensboro, threw boxes of food that struck an employee.
