Greene County 4-H celebrates our six 4-Hers who participated in the Northeast Junior/Senior District Project Achievement (DPA) competition held at Rock Eagle 4-H Center March 10-12. There were 374 competitors representing each county in the Northeast District.

Greensboro hires new city manager to start May 1

Greensboro city council approved the hire of a new city manager effective May 1. Current city manager Larry Postell will be retiring, having served under two mayoral administrations since 2002. He is expected to stay on for a period of 60-90 days to aid in the transition.
