Fine Arts building

Lake Oconee Academy officially commenced the groundbreaking on its new Fine Arts Center on its campus earlier this month. This project was celebrated with an on-site ceremony, featuring performances by the LOA Jazz Band and an introduction by LOA CEO, Dr. Otho Tucker.

About 150 people got to visit with Alice Walker as she launched her new book during an event at the Plaza Arts Center on April 12. Walker and her friend, Dr. Beverly Guy-Sheftall, discussed the book via Zoom.
