A Buckhead man and his female companion have been arrested on drug and weapons charges according to Sgt. Chase Young of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
Joseph Chad Christian, 49, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug related objects and possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance.
Jessica Walton, 41, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of drug related objects.
Investigators learned of the possibility that Christian might be in possession of illegal narcotics and conducted and exercised a fourth amendment waiver search at his residence on April 25. Christian was already on probation.
During the course of the search Walton admitted that she was hiding methamphetamine in her clothing. It turned out to be 26 grams of methamphetamine. They also found a smaller bag
