MORGAN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICEA Morgan County deputy was dispatched to the MCSO lobby on June 26 in reference to an assault on a complainant’s daughter. A pre-warrant hearing before the Superior Court is one of the options being considered.

Sheriff’s office investigates rash of thefts in Traditions

Greene County deputies responded to the Traditions neighborhood off Carey Station Road near Lake Oconee Academy to investigate multiple theft complaints and entering autos on June 30. According to reports, deputies found several vehicles that had been broken into.

SC men arrested on drug, weapons charges

Morgan County deputies arrested two South Carolina men on weapons and drug charges on June 21 following a traffic stop on I-20.Isaiah Hunter, 29, of Blythwood, has been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and speeding (100 mph in a 70-mph zone).
