Greene BOE spends $549K on marquee, scoreboard

The Greene County Board of Education took out its checkbook during its June 20 meeting and spent approximately $2,324,000, with the lion’s share going to materials for the new Greene County Elementary School and enhancements for Tiger Stadium.

GCSS, Atlas partner to feed kids for summer

Throughout June, the Greene County School System’s Summer Feeding Program provided free meals to underserved community families.The seasonal program runs annually after the regular school year ends, and breakfast and lunch are available to children up to 18 years old.

Hooks wins MOCO Republican race for sheriff
