Morgan County has a navy.After seven years without a boat, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office has acquired a vessel to patrol the 89 miles of shoreline it has on Lake Oconee and the Apalachee River.

Reynolds reveals 8th golf course coming next year

Reynolds Lake Oconee will complete the construction of its eighth golf course next year, further solidifying its position as one of the country’s premier golf communities. Fenmoor Golf Club will be a private, members-only course designed by Steve Smyers and is expected to open in the fall of 2026.
