GCCSF toy donation locations announced

The need is real and time is of the essence. The Greene County Christmas Stocking Fund (GCCSF) will be providing toys to more than 300 children, ages 13 and younger this year, so please help support a child by taking a new, unwrapped toy to any of the locations or events listed below.

Dear editor: This November, we have so much to be thankful for here at the Greene County School System, and I’d like to start by thanking our community for passing the ESPLOST education 1% sales tax renewal last week.

It was a rough night at Tiger Stadium for Greene County and head coach Terrance Banks. No. 3-seed Christian Heritage defeated the No. 2-seed Tigers 37-6 last Friday night. The loss eliminates them from contention in the Class A Division II playoffs.
