For those of you reading this, I’m still reeling off my trip to Austin after watching Georgia whoop Texas.First of all, if you ever get a chance to visit Austin, it’s a great place. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. There are also a lot of great comedy clubs and music venues.

Eatonton’s own C.G. Knight said he predicted his Oct. 13 win at No Mercy 15 on the eighth mile at South Georgia Motorsports Park near Valdosta.No Mercy and its springtime Lights Out counterpart routinely draw hundreds of entries each year.

Dogs ready for region clash against Jackson

Morgan County (7-0, 2-0 Region 4-AA) is ready to resume action this Friday after a scheduled bye week.The Dogs will face Jackson (4-3, 2-0), which is also coming off a bye last week, for a 7:30 p.m. kick-off. The Red Devils have had an up-and-down season but are on a two-game winning streak.
