Dogs finish spring with scrimmage against Walnut Grove

Morgan County finished up its spring football camp with a scrimmage against Walnut Grove on Friday at Bill Corry Stadium. The ‘Dogs got to lace up the pads and throw on their helmets for one final time this spring.

Ben Coody finally put pen to paper and officially signed with Berry College last week. He did this after his four-year career on the diamond for Morgan County ended three weeks ago. Coody is relieved to have the recruiting process over and graduation almost behind him.

MCHS T&F has success at sectionals

The Morgan County track and field program asserted its dominance at the Class AAA sectionals meet this past weekend at East Jackson High School. The boys’ and girls’ teams are each sending six individuals to the GHSA Track and Field Championship meet.
