Lady Dogs return to pitch in ‘26 after Final Four finish

Coming off the most successful season in program history, the Morgan County girls soccer team is entering a new chapter in 2026.Last spring, the Lady Dogs made a memorable run to the Final Four, marking the deepest postseason finish the program has ever achieved.

GCHS hosts Q&A with head football coaching candidates

Greene County is still searching for its next head football coach, but the process may conclude later this week.The school hosted its final two candidates for a public question-and-answer session on Monday, drawing community members, parents, and school officials, including Dr. Aaryn Schmuhl.

New year, same expectations for LOA baseball

Tigers aim to compete for seven innings

Defense, depth helps Dogs peak at right time

Lady Tigers get first W of season on Senior Night

The Greene County girls basketball team picked up its first win of the season on Feb. 3, edging Wilkinson County 53-51 at home.With the victory, the Lady Tigers are now 1-16 overall and will close the regular season on Feb. 6 with a road game at Lake Oconee Academy.
