Former Morgan County wide receiver Dallas Dickerson recently signed to continue his college career at Georgia.Dickerson played two full seasons with the Dogs before transferring to North Oconee, where his recruitment took off after helping the Titans win the GHSA Class 4A state championship in 2024.

LOA boys hit rough patch

Ice Dawgs fall twice to Niagara University

The University of Georgia Ice Dawgs gave up a goal with just 23 seconds left in regulation time Saturday night to suffer a 3-2 loss in Athens at the hands of the Niagara University Purple Eagles.

GCHS begins interview process for next head football coach

Burke scores 1,000th career point for Lady Dogs

Morgan County guard Cydney Burke has been a vital piece of the Lady Dogs’ success this season.The senior, now in her fourth year on the varsity roster, reached a major milestone by scoring her 1,000th career point during a 65–17 road win over Rutland on Jan. 13.

Florida State freshman defensive lineman Kevin Wynn said on Wednesday, January 14, that he will remain with the Seminoles after he announced earlier this month that he planned to enter the transfer portal.The former Greene County standout said on his personal X account that he is returning.

LOA girls defeat Lady Tigers in overtime ‘nailbiter’

The Lake Oconee Academy girls basketball team hasn’t had it easy lately, but got an important win on Saturday, Jan. 17, over crosstown rival Greene County to snap a five-game losing streak.The Lady Titans secured a 59-52 overtime victory over the Lady Tigers.
