The Greene County Board of Education (BOE) meeting last week opened with recognition from the Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA) as an Exemplary Board. This is the third year the BOE has received the award. It is the highest award level in GSBA’s recognition program.

Yet another case involving drones and drugs is being investigated by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies. A Loganville man arrested on multiple charges on Oct. 6, 2023, was arrested again on Jan. 17, 2024, under strikingly similar circumstances.
