Driver slams into Greene County patrol units

South Carolina men arrested on drug charges

A pair of South Carolina men were arrested April 30 when a Greene County deputy discovered 6.5 pounds of marijuana in their vehicle.Preston Artavious McCalister and Brendon Tahj Barton, both of Aiken, South Carolina, face charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Morgan County woman killed in tragic accident

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the death of a Morgan County woman who was killed April 26 when she fell out of a vehicle traveling on Linger Longer Road in the Reynolds Lake Oconee area of Greene County.
