Piedmont Water’s new water treatment plant serving the Reynolds Water System has been approved for startup by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division. Construction started on the estimated $15 million facility in October 2019.

Thieves caught stealing motel safe from Days Inn

According to reports, Madison police officers foiled a brazen theft attempt at the Days Inn located at 2020 Eatonton Road on the morning of Aug. 5. Officer Jonathan Mills was dispatched to the motel at approximately 6 a.m.

Proposed BOE budget increases by 5%

Eatonton considers BnB special-event dining approval
