A Union Point woman is facing charges of aggravated assault after allegedly intentionally hitting a woman with her car on July 31. Carshuna Yvette Smith, 28, also faces charges of criminal trespass in the wake of the incident.

The Brickhouse makes comeback with new management

After being taken over by new management in October, The Brickhouse Pub & Grub recently returned to serving Eatonton with live entertainment and food. Todd Miles bought The Brickhouse from its previous owner in order to bring more entertainment value to the downtown core.

Stolen truck box buried; three arrested; one sought

Putnam County Sheriff’s Office literally dug up some evidence last week when they used a county backhoe to excavate a stolen box truck. Three Putnam County people have been arrested and a third Baldwin County man is being sought by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office in connection with the theft.

42-acre annexation tabled until zoning review
