    The Greene County Board of Education met on Feb. 12 for its second monthly meeting of 2026 and shared multiple updates from the beginning of the calendar year.

    Early in the session, the recently formed GCES organization, Greene County School of Scholars, presented to the board about their mission to improve student learning experiences and behavior.
