Benefit concert raises over $125,000 for Ukraine

The efforts of the local non-profit, Lake Country Medical Aid for Ukraine (LCMAFU), have paid off! Sunday, June 26, 2022, LCMAFU hosted a benefit concert at Oconee Brewing Company which raised more than $125,000.

The Jazz Legacy Project

Another great must-see event was held June 16 at Festival Hall in Greensboro for the second in the series of The Jazz Legacy Project, featuring musicians Justin Varnes, drummer and narrator; Louis Heriveaux, pianist and keyboardist; Kevin Smith, bassist; and John Sandfort on saxophone.

Possible Sasquatch sighting in Morgan County?

According to a Facebook post by Expedition: Bigfoot, a North Georgia museum devoted to the mysterious creature, there was a recent Sasquatch sighting in Morgan County.
