Reva Alexander-Hawk is a local baker with quite the resume’! Owner of Merci Beaucoup Cakes, Reva is a Food Network champion several times over, with three seasons on “Amazing Wedding Cakes” and more recently, “Cake Wars” on Food Network.

Mindblowing Mysteries camp teaches critical-thinking skills

Among the multiple activities, the Summer Inspiration Program has in stock is a camp that specifically targets intellectual challenges. The Mindblowing Mysteries camp at Putnam County Middle School teaches students problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Innovation That Excites: LOA hosts youth science camp

Camp Invention, an organization associated with the National Inventors Hall of Fame, recently held its annual youth science camp in June at Lake Oconee Academy. The organization hosts camps all around the country and is open to all kids from kindergarten through sixth grade.
