Shag Club offers lessons and fun

The Lake Oconee Shag Club held its latest night of dancing at the Oconee Brewing Company on May 4.
Over 100 people attended this fun event, which is open to everyone of any age, who wants to learn the Carolina Shag, meet people, enjoy great music and have lots of fun.

Greene County 4-H archery team hits the mark at end of season

On April 30, Greene County 4-Hers traveled to the outdoor State Archery Competition at Rock Eagle in Putnam County. It was an exciting weekend with eight Greene County 4-Hers participating in this state shooting sports event.
They competed in compound novice and junior compound competitions.
