Sew Much Fun provides legacy gift to ORHS auction

Laurie McKercher was a talented seamstress who loved cats. These things don’t necessarily seem related until they are woven into a project delivered with care, love, and passion. Unfortunately, McKercher experienced a debilitating stroke in 2014 that left her no longer able to sew.

For the last few months, National Junior Beta members from Putnam County Middle School (PCMS) have been working hard to prepare for competition at the National Jr. Beta Convention.

MMCC welcomes new board members

Current and former trustees of the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center (MMCC), along with volunteers and other friends, gathered at the Cultural Center on July 17, for the center’s annual meeting.

Mac Heuer is a 2023 Greene County home-school graduate. He has a sincere passion for agriculture, raising and exhibiting quality livestock, and he has been an active Greene County 4-H’er for a number of years.
