The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center (MMCC) cordially invites everyone to masquerade the night away on Feb. 10 at The Hall on Foster.

Come dressed to the nines to this ballgown and black-tie affair, or wear, as chairperson Debi Lamb stated, “whatever your Mardi Gras heart desires … we want everyone to have fun and surprise us.”

Regardless of attire, prepare to be dazzled by the fashionable French Quarter stylings of New Orleans upon entering The Hall.

As you saunter and socialize your way through the Mardi Gras-inspired event you will savor Harvest & Honey’s Cajun tapas and Creole dessert stations while enjoying drinks from the full bar.

Buy a reserved VIP table and enjoy named brand bottle service at your table. And don’t miss wandering down a secret entrance to the casino lights of a New Orleans-style Speakeasy, where “the action is on you” at the tables.

Also get ready to dance to the beats of the Atlanta-based GetDownTown band, featuring high-energy performances and a versatile repertoire including top-40 hits, Motown favorites, and soulful R&B. They’ll have you burning up the dance floor like you’re on Bourbon Street.

Remember your mask and make sure it's fabulous … as prizes will be flowing along with champagne!

And join us in honoring Morgan County’s royalty, the 2024 Queen and King of the Ball, Chris Lambert and Stan DeJarnett.

Plus, this year’s Mardi Gras court members are Rachel Kinsaul, Traci Nelson, Katherine Webster, Christian Williams, Mully Ash, Zeb Grant, Patrick Sims, and James Williams, who are all raising support to increase funding for the Center’s main stage and visual arts programming, historic museum, building, grounds, and operations. You can champion MMCC by “donation voting” for any of the eight court members to be next year’s queen and king.

All court members have three things in common: Morgan County is their home, they volunteer and support our county in countless ways, and each wholeheartedly supports the MMCC mission to bring enriching educational and arts programming so essential for a rural community.

Please scan the QR code to donate by voting for one of these very special members.

For more information or to purchase your tickets or VIP table today by calling (706) 342-4743 or visit online at mmcc-arts.org.

MMMC is located at 434 S. Main St., Madison, and is open for visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday.
