Electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Rivian announced March 7 that it is delaying indefinitely its plan to build an EV plant east of Atlanta, near Madison. Instead, Rivian said it will initially begin building its new R2 midsize SUV at its present location in Illinois.

Allegations of voter fraud have to come light in several Georgia counties recently, and one of the cases referred to district attorneys originated in Morgan County.

Madison City Council is moving forward with an emergency plan to correct stormwater issues causing serious concerns on Candler Lane. The situation there was serious enough for council to have a special called meeting Jan.
