Several years ago, I was returning from a speaking engagement at the historic Greenbrier Hotel, flying from Roanoke on a small Delta jet into the Atlanta airport.

Eddy to be honored at National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) will host the 44th National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend on May 3-4 in Emmitsburg, Maryland. This year’s national tribute will honor 70 firefighters who died in the line of duty in 2024, as well as 70 firefighters who died in previous years.

Southland Jubilee celebrates 25 years

Saturday was a spectacular day to be in downtown Greensboro as the community came together to celebrate the 25th annual Southland Jubilee. The milestone event brought the heart of Greensboro to life with unforgettable performances, amazing local talent, and festive fun for all ages.
