Do You Hear What I Hear?

LCC presents First Methodist Christmas concert

The Lake Country Chorus at Greensboro’s First Methodist Church presented last Thursday, “Do You Hear What I Hear,” a program of music and dance that delighted and thrilled the packed venue.

The Arts Barn Kids, Jordan Loh, Annie Manning, Alice Manning, and Ellie Swymer performed “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” and Ballerina Kierstyn Gearhart of the Southern Spice Dance Academy danced beautifully to the jazz waltz of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

This production, under the direction of vocal director Cat Williamson, presented a wonderful evening of music performed by the men and women of the Lake Country Chorus, making this annual event one not to be missed.

The orchestra was comprised of Bob Williamson on bass, drummer Louis Romanos, flutist Karrie Frey, percussionist Mia Eaton, Marc Gilley on saxophone, synthesizer player JoJo Glidewell, trombonist Kevin Hyde, and trumpeters Karl Liberatore and Timothy Otis.

To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, the Lake Country Chorus will present “The USA at the USO” on April 30, 2026, at Greensboro’s Festival Hall.
