Tubing accident sends 7-year-old to hospital

A seven-year-old girl was injured in a tubing accident on Lake Oconee on Saturday. She was riding on the inflatable raft with an eight-year-old girl at the time, according to Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills.Shortly before 5 p.m.

Putnam BOC chairman breaks tie to confirm HB 581 opt-in

Just five months after breaking ground in Eatonton, Whataburger opened on a cool, foggy morning last Wednesday. Located near Walmart and Waffle House alongside Hwy. 441 on the west side of town, Eatonton’s newest fast-food outlet immediately started doing brisk business.
