MORGAN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE A Morgan County deputy was dispatched to a High Shoals Road address on June 15 in reference to a property damage complaint. The complainant said that a temporary power pole cable connected to the property’s well was cut during the night.

A Madison police officer arrested a Bridgeport, Connecticut, man on multiple charges June 6 following an eventful traffic stop on I-20 east bound.

Morgan County Sheriff's Office Dekota Lee Bridges, 18, of Madison was arrested June 8 and charged with possession of marijuana (less than 1 ounce), possession and use of drug-related objects and driving while license suspended.

Four arrested on multiple charges in Madison

Four men from the metropolitan Athens area were arrested June 5 on multiple drug charges and other offenses after a traffic stop on the Madison bypass near Morgan County High School for speeding (76 mph in a 55-mph zone).

MORGAN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE A Morgan County deputy was dispatched to an Athens Highway address June 1 in reference to a theft complaint. The complainant said someone removed the catalytic converter from a Ford E-450 van belonging to Morgan County. The case was turned over to investigations.
