The Lake Oconee Academy boys tennis team traveled up to Berry College last Saturday to take on Taylor County for the GHSA Class A Division II state championship, and for the second year in a row, the Titans came out on top.

The Lake Oconee Academy boys’ soccer team had its postseason cut short after making it to the state quarterfinals for a second straight year. The Titans fell to the eventual Class A Division II state champions, the Christian Heritage Lions, a few weeks ago to the tune of 5-1, but head coach Conner Domaleski was still proud of his squad at the end of the day.

ELLAVILLE – Lake Oconee Academy’s baseball season came to an end last week at Schley County. The Wildcats swept the Titans on Thursday, advancing to the next round of the Class A Division II playoffs.

Bowling picked to lead LOA as Tucker steps down

Dr. Brad Bowling, upper school director at Lake Oconee Academy, will become the executive director of LOA effective July 1. The LOA Board of Governors voted Monday night to offer Bowling a two-year contract for the top position at the Greene County charter school.

LOA boys, girls tennis cruises to Final Four

Both Lake Oconee Academy tennis programs have advanced to the Final Four of the GHSA Class A Division II state tournament after dominating their competition in the last couple of matches. Two weeks ago, both Titan teams hosted Georgia Military Prep (GMC Prep) in the Sweet 16 of the playoffs and swept the Bulldogs three matches to none.

Late goal sends Lady Titans to soccer Final Four

After defeating Johnson County 2-0 at the beginning of last week, the Lake Oconee Academy Lady Titans had to travel up to the state’s capital to take on Atlanta Classical Academy in the Elite 8 of the GHSA Class A Division II state playoffs.
