Design revealed for planned traffic circle The Georgia Department of Transportation has just posted an official design for the much discussed and frequently feared roundabout to be constructed at the intersection of Highway 44/ Lake Oconee Parkway and Linger Longer Road. The city of Greensboro approved a new millage rate at this week’s city council meeting. A new millage rate of 5.723 was approved and reflects a decrease of .017 mills from last year’s rate of 5.74, according to City Manager Larry Postell.

Lake Country Medical Aid for Ukraine (LCMAU) has spearheaded fundraising efforts and raised more than $157,000 through generous donor contributions. But the need continues for financial support to replace dwindling medical supplies and services throughout the war-torn country.

An “Evening with Art” drew more than 300 attendees to the third-annual fundraising event to Greensboro for the Boys and Girls Club of North Central Georgia. The event has become a showcase of unique art in various mediums and brings in people across the south to enjoy art, community and support the local Boys and Girls Club.
