A Kansas man and a Texas man were arrested on marijuana trafficking charges on Oct. 17, following a traffic stop on I-20 in Greene County that resulted in the discovery of 20 pounds of marijuana.

The Georgia PGA Senior Division’s Tour Championship, sponsored by Jennifer Vaughan with Ansley Real Estate Christie’s International, took place Oct. 10-11, at Reynolds Lake in Greensboro. The two-day tournament was played on the Oconee Course and Great Waters.

Bank building purchase puts city on defense

A Greensboro real estate investor and resident have made her concern heard about an earlier purchase by the city of Greensboro. Maria Wayne inquired about the status of the former BB&T branch that has sat vacant since its purchase by the city in October of 2018.

Airabella Lake Oconee breaks ground on big development

Greensboro’s first “Live, Work, Play” community is now well underway following last week’s groundbreaking at its site on Linger Longer Road. Christened Airabella Lake Oconee, it is being built on 137 acres off Linger Longer Road and will bring a new housing concept to the Lake Oconee area.
