LOA volleyball players earn postseason recognition

The Lake Oconee Academy volleyball team had several players earn postseason honors after the 2025 season.The Lady Titans had three players garner All-Area recognition for their performances on the court.

Lady Titans volleyball celebrates historic season

The 2025 season for the Lake Oconee Academy volleyball team was one of the best in program history.The Lady Titans won a program-record 25 matches with only seven losses this year.

The Lake Oconee Academy volleyball team started the season strong last week.The Lady Titans picked up four wins over East Jackson, Social Circle, George Walton Academy, and Frederica Academy. They were dominant and never lost a set in the first four matches of the season.

Lady Titans use summer to bond and develop

The Lake Oconee Academy volleyball team used the summer to strengthen its bond and improve its skills.The Lady Titans have practiced weekly on the hardwood and have also done several team-bonding activities.

McDaniel named new LOA softball coach

Lake Oconee Academy didn’t have to look far for its new head softball coach.LOA Athletic Director Chris Ingle has recently hired Glynn McDaniel, an assistant coach for both football and baseball, to fill the position. McDaniel replaces Keetah Singleton, who recently stepped down.

LOA captures third-straight GADA Director’s Cup

Lake Oconee Academy is used to winning.The Titans recently won their third-straight Class A Division II Georgia Athletic Directors Association’s Cup. The Titans also dominated the competition, winning both the Female Director’s Cup and the Male Director’s Cup.

Lady Titans’ volleyball celebrates successful season

Lake Oconee Academy volleyball’s postseason run came to an end against Pepperell in the Elite Eight on Oct. 23, but the team still had a successful season.The Lady Titans knocked off and swept Bryan County and Rabun County before falling to Pepperell.

Lady Titans’ eyeing area volleyball tournament

As the regular season comes to a close, Lake Oconee Academy volleyball is gearing up to make a run in the area tournament.The Lady Titans started the year 13-2 but have since gone 3-5 and are now seventh in the area rankings.

Lady Titans' volleyball off to strong start on the court

Lake Oconee Academy’s volleyball team is off to an excellent start, entering the weekend at 13-2 overall.Under the guidance of head coach Chris Ingle, the Lady Titans have shown great promise this season. Ingle is confident that this team has the potential to make a deep run in the playoffs.

LOA’s Williams signs golf scholarship with UT-Martin

Lake Oconee Academy senior golfer Drew Williams signed a letter of intent last Wednesday in front of friends and family to continue his career on the greens at the University of Tennessee-at Martin.
