Greene County High School has its new head football coach.The program announced via social media that it has hired Darius Robinson to lead the Tigers into the future. Robinson was previously an assistant at South Georgia powerhouse Valdosta under coach Shelton Felton.

Greene County High School has its new head football coach.In an announcement via social media, the program has hired Darius Robinson to lead the Tigers into the future. Robinson was previously an assistant at South Georgia powerhouse Valdosta, working for head coach Shelton Felton.

Consistency proves elusive for Gators

The Gatewood Gators played three times last week, winning 74-64 at home on Tuesday over Windsor Academy, dropping an 81-67 decision at Brentwood on Thursday, and getting back on the right track with an 84-66 decision over Augusta Prep Day (APD) on Saturday afternoon in Eatonton.

Titans garner all-region accolades

Multiple players on Lake Oconee Academy’s football team recently garnered All-Region honors after coaches of Class A Division II’s Region 8 voted six Titans to the first and second teams. Two other Titans also made the honorable mention list for their 2024 on-field performances.

Lady Dogs learn lessons from tough non-region schedule

Despite a losing record entering this week, the Morgan County girls basketball team remains a top-10 team in Class 2A.The Lady Dogs are ranked No. 8 in the SandySpiel.com Class 2A rankings because of their tough schedule.

Rock Lobsters enter 2025 with shootout win

Banks takes job at Central Gwinnett
