Dear Editor: I recently read a piece in the paper where the writer states “It is time for all Georgians and citizens throughout the U.S. to present valid identification when they come to vote in all elections.” I have been a legal voting resident in three states in my lifetime.

Explanation about previous letter

Dear Editor: I am sorry an unnamed letter writer is upset about my response to her letter. I sincerely apologize for using her name so much. Most people enjoy getting their name in print. I was unwisely writing it as a “Dear Virginia” letter. Also, my message was probably too blunt.
