Dear Editor:
I recently read a piece in the paper where the writer states “It is time for all Georgians and citizens throughout the U.S. to present valid identification when they come to vote in all elections.” I have been a legal voting resident in three states in my lifetime. Every time I went to vote I was required to provide valid identification. The writer goes on to make numerous claims about individuals attempts to vote improperly. I have seen very little to suggest this is widespread.
It is amazing to me that the Chief of Staff to the former President of the United States should vote illegally. I find it hard to believe that a person in that position did not know where and how to legally vote. As I understand, he was also registered in three different places. I have read where individuals doing such a thing were put in jail. I wonder what will happen to Meadows and his wife? Looks like North Carolina has a lot of work to do.
Sincerely,
