Michael Todd Robinson

Michael Todd Robinson of Buckhead, Georgia, passed away on May 23, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia.

Michael was born in Riverdale, Georgia, on November 16, 1967, to William Larry and Shirley Dailey Robinson. He attended Georgia Southern College before graduating from Clayton State University.

Michael married his partner of ten years, Linda Knowles, on May 4, 2013, and they shared thirteen years of marriage.

He built a career as a printer with Scott Lithographing Company, Inc., and was the owner and operator of MTR Stump Grinding. A member of the Lake Oconee Elks Lodge, Michael had a passion for the outdoors, particularly fishing and deer hunting. He also enjoyed running and spending time at the beach with his wife.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Knowles Robinson; his parents, Larry and Shirley Robinson; and his sister, Susan Davis (Barry). He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Linda Leach; father-in-law, David Knowles Sr. (Teresa); brother-in-law, David Knowles Jr. (Michelle); and sisters-in-law, Wendy Daniel (Derrick) and Crystal Faulkner (Chris). His memory will be cherished by his aunt, Glenda Woods; nieces and nephews Delaney and Abby Myers, Dailey and Zachary Davis, Nick, Dakota and Noah Knowles, Cursten Carver, Cheyenne Daniels, Rayven Faulkner, and Hayden and Ellie Daniel; as well as dear friends Marty and Pam Chester, Kelly and Allen Coleman, and Shelly and Grant Coleman, along with many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service led by Rev. Jonathan Dawson was held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Lakepoint Community Church, 940 Harmony Road, Eatonton, Georgia 31024. The family received friends beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the UCBC Cares Foundation at 3320 Old Jefferson Road, Building 800, Athens, Georgia, or to the Lake Oconee Elks Lodge at 871 Harmony Road, Eatonton, Georgia 31024.
