It is with heavy hearts that we share that Bonnie Sullivan (Hankins) of Greensboro passed away peacefully on July 28 in Augusta, Georgia, surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 3, 1941, in Mobile, Alabama, to the late James L. Hankins and Zelma Hankins (Purvis).
She is survived by her devoted husband, S. Mike Sullivan III; son, S. Michael Sullivan IV; grandchildren, Meghan Marchman (Sullivan) and Stephen M. Sullivan V; great-grandson, Noah Marchman; and siblings, James Hankins, Linda Phelps (Hankins) and Diana Brogdon (Hankins). She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Kathleen Brockmeier (Sullivan).
Bonnie leaves behind a legacy of choosing to love people generously, finding joy in life’s simplest moments and facing every challenge with unwavering faith.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Msgr will conduct a funeral service. Fogarty at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 17, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Conyers, Georgia, so that all who loved Bonnie can join in honoring and remembering her beautiful life.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made to The Monastery of the Holy Spirit.
