Holiday cheer filled the halls and walls of Putnam County High School on Dec. 8, as Holiday in Our Halls showcased the artwork and various talents of numerous students.

Among the biggest displays was a Christmas tree lane, which also served as a fundraiser for several PCHS student organizations. Each organization decorated its own Christmas tree and had a box for donations underneath. The proceeds will fund the activities of the respective organization.

A few Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) programs conducted a silent auction, while culinary students welcomed visitors with desserts of their own cooking.

Meanwhile, the PCHS Jazz Ensemble played holiday tunes, and musical theater and drama students presented skits, songs and dances, some of which they wrote and directed on their own.
