Phyllis Catherine Larnino Clement, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2026, at her home in Greensboro, Georgia, where she had lived for the past 20 years.
She was born Oct. 19, 1935, in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, to the late Philip Albert Larnino and Julia Sabol Larnino. Phyllis earned her bachelor’s degree from Lawrence University, where she was a proud member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She married Thomas Philip Clement on March 18, 1957.
A remarkably gifted musician, Phyllis spent many years teaching piano and dance. She continued to enjoy golfing and playing the piano throughout her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Clement, and daughter Kelly Clement Martinez.
She is survived by her son, Philip Thomas Clement II of Duluth, Georgia; daughters Catherine Clement Bell of Hickory, North Carolina, and Carin Lee Clement Fernandez of Destrehan, Louisiana; five grandchildren, Laura Fernandez, Philip Fernandez, Parker Lankewicz, Paige Clement and Thomas Clement; and three great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Audrina and Amelia Dupre, along with many extended family members and friends.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
