Rolando. A. Callendar, 18, of Fairburn was arrested Aug. 2 and charged with speeding (112 mph in a 70-mph zone), driving without a proper license and reckless driving.
Brandon L. Brock, 36, of Monroe was arrested Aug. 8 and charged with speeding (86 mph in a 70-mph zone) and failure to yield right of way to an emergency vehicle.
A Morgan County deputy found a Silver Nissan Frontier parked on the eastbound Exit 121 ramp off of I-20 on Aug. 3. After running the VIN, the Nissan was revealed to have been stolen out of Atlanta. The Atlanta Police Department was notified, and the truck was towed to the MCSO.
A Morgan County deputy was dispatched to a Davis Academy Road address in Rutledge in reference to a property damage complaint. The complainant said she struck a large pothole on Davis Academy Road, which appeared to have bent the wheel of her car and caused the tire to go flat. Roads and bridges responded immediately and patched the hole.
Angelo M. Warner, 56, of Madison was arrested Aug. 5 and charged with driving while license suspended, speeding (94 mph in a 70-mph zone), open container, failure to maintain insurance and suspended registration.
Desmond D. Harris, 32, of Rutledge was arrested Aug. 6 and charged with disorderly conduct.
A Morgan County deputy was dispatched to a Broughton Road address Aug. 7 in reference to a damage to property complaint. The complainant said that while traveling southbound on Highway 83, his vehicle hit a road sign that was sticking out onto the roadway. The deputy removed the sign and notified the GDOT.
A Morgan County deputy was dispatched to a Clack Road address in reference to an animal complaint. The complainant said he was running toward his home when a large dog believed to be German Shepherd attacked him from behind, injuring his posterior and ripping his shorts. The incident was turned over to Morgan County Animal Control.
A Morgan County deputy was dispatched to the MCSO on Monticello Road Aug. 7 in reference to a nuisance animal complaint. The complainant said a black pit was coming into her yard and chasing and biting her dogs.Morgan County Animal Control was notified.
A Morgan County deputy was dispatched to a Sugar Creek Road address Aug. 7 in reference to theft of sheep complaint. The complainant said he counted his sheep and on Aug. 6 and had 10.
When he checked on them the next morning, he only had nine and found the remains of 10th lamb in the woods where they were kept. The complainant said someone had butchered the lamb and taken all the meat and organs.
A Morgan County deputy was dispatched to an MCSO lobby in reference to a forgery complaint.
Siranthony M. Farrell, 32, of Covington, was arrested Aug. 1 and charged with burglary, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime, disorderly conduct, simple assault and criminal trespass.
Mason Trey Holman, 18, of Auburn was arrested July 31 and charged with disorderly conduct, simple assault, and possession of marijuana (less than 1 ounce).
Jeterrrius Jamere Veasely, 23, of Madison was arrested July 31 and charged with disorderly conduct, terroristic threats and acts and possession of a knife or firearm during the commission of a crime.
Madison Police Department
A Madison police officer was dispatched to the KFC on Eatonton Road July 25 in reference to an employee theft. According to the KFC district manager, she had discovered that a previous manager had apparently stolen $2,375 over the course of several months. When the former manager was asked about the thefts, she left the store mid-shift and has not returned. Video evidence is being reviewed.
A Madison police officer was dispatched to the Red Roof Inn on Eatonton Road July 28 in reference to an aggravated assault. Witnesses said two young men who were later found and detained fled the scene. One young man was accused of pulling a gun on the other, but due to conflicting stories and no gun bound, a pre-warrant hearing is being arranged.
A Madison police officer was dispatched to the Red Roof Inn on Eatonton Road July 31 in reference to an assault complaint. “Due to conflicting testimony of witnesses and a lack of clarity in determining a primary aggressor” no arrests were made.
Damine Emale Mitchell, 28, of Atlanta was arrested July 29 and charged with shoplifting. According to the report, a Walmart asset protection associate recognized a man who had stolen $1,465 worth of merchandise on July 22 as he entered the store. He was detained by a Morgan County deputy and turned over the MPD. Video evidence confirmed that Mitchell was the man involved in the previous shoplifting incident.
A Madison police officer was dispatched to a Newman Drive address in reference to someone telling a homeowner that someone was trying to hurt his mother. The young man was later taken to Morgan Medical Center for an evaluation.
Veronica Lynette Davis, 39, of Atlanta was arrested Aug. 5 and charged with theft and criminal damage to property.
Jaeqwon H.L. Davis, 19, of Atlanta was arrested Aug. 5 and charged with theft, criminal damage to property and possession of marijuana (less than 1 ounce).
Larry Darnell Smith, 64, of Buckhead was arrested Aug. 5 and charged with public indecency and possession or use of drug paraphernalia.
Windy Lynn Strickland, 46, of Covington was arrested Aug. 3 and charged with theft.
A Madison police officer was dispatched to a Bell Circle address Aug. 1 in reference to a missing firearm.
The complainant said a black Taurus 9mm handgun was stolen from the glove box of her vehicle.

On Aug. 2, deputies arrested Jesse Keith Aaron, 1320 Community Drive, Union Point, for driving while license suspended/revoked, no insurance, expired tag, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of marijuana and theft by receiving stolen property.
On Aug. 2, deputies arrested Ashley Noel Bean, 1140 Bella Vista Circle, Fayetteville, North Carolina, for giving a false name to law enforcement and possession of a controlled substance.
On Aug. 5, deputies arrested Antoine Lenard Bowen, 1324 Town Creek Circle, Greensboro, for aggravated assault, armed robbery, possession of firearm/knife during the commission of a crime, and theft by shoplifting.
On Aug. 2, deputies arrested Adian Josephen Carlson, 234 Eaglewood Ct, Athens, for fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and speeding.
On Aug. 1, deputies arrested Joenathan Corbins, Jr., 8526 Tangle Drive, Linden, North Carolina, for possession of a controlled substance.
On Aug. 4, deputies arrested Kory Lamar Cox, 2322 Prescott Place, Hephzibah, for a window tint violation, possession of controlled substance, possession of a firearm/knife during the commission of a crime and obstruction.
On Aug. 2, deputies arrested Sherman Lewis Johnson, 105 Oak Hill Drive, Apt 1222, Athens, for speeding, driving while license suspended/revoked, and no insurance.

On Aug. 1, deputies arrested Carshuna Yvette Smith, 221 Elliot Circle, Union Point, on three counts of for aggravated assault and criminal trespass.
On Aug. 1, deputies arrested Thomas Cole Stephens, 105 Dennis Street, Union Point, for driving while license suspended/revoked.
On Aug. 6, deputies arrested Thomas Lindy Tanner, 549 Wacmil Road, Tennille, for probation violation.
On Aug. 2, Deputies arrested Johnny Nicol Tucker, Jr., 3510 Siloam/Veazey Road, Greensboro, for failure to appear and probation violation.
On Aug. 2, deputies arrested Anthony Whitten, 1040 Brookwood Drive, Watkinsville, for failure to appear. On Aug. 1, deputies arrested Cornelius Wright, III, 102 Rachel Street, Greensboro, for passing in a no passing zone and driving while license suspended/revoked.
Greensboro Police Department
On Sunday, July 31, officers responded to the Citgo on East Broad Street in reference to a disorderly customer. The complainant stated that the customer got angry when he thought he received the wrong change. The complainant stated that the customer threw a beer at him. The complainant stated that he gave the customer the money back, and the customer left the store.
On Monday, Aug. 1, while patrolling the area of Park Place, officers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle driven by Yunior Chavez, 20, of Greensboro. After further investigation, Chavez was arrested on charges of failure to stop at a stop sign and driving without a license.
On Monday, Aug. 1, officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in which the driver was seen to be heavily intoxicated from a previous incident involving a threat with a gun. The driver was identified as Tonya Monique Briscoe, 41, of Greensboro. After further investigation, Briscoe was arrested on the charge of DUI.
On Tuesday, Aug. 2, while patrolling the area of East Broad Street, officers initiated a traffic stop driven by Cody Brandon Seymour, 29, of Greensboro. After further investigation, Seymour was arrested on charges of a seatbelt violation and driving while license suspended.
On Tuesday, Aug. 2, officers responded to the Family Dollar located on North Main Street in reference to a criminal trespassing complaint. The complainant stated that Christopher Mobley, 41, of Greensboro was issued a criminal trespassing warning for the property of 210 North Main Street, Greensboro.
On Tuesday, Aug. 2, officers responded to Bill’s Dollar Store located on East South Street in reference to a criminal trespassing complaint. The complainant stated that a customer came into the store attempting to shoplift. When confronted, the clerk and the customer exchanged words. The customer then began to expose herself in front of other customers and children. After further investigation, a warrant for public indecency was issued for Leleka Redd, 39, of Greensboro. Redd will also be issued a criminal trespassing warning for the property of 102 East South Street, Greensboro.
On Thursday, Aug. 4, while patrolling the area of MLK Jr. Drive, officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in which driven by Travis Dequan Porter, 27, of Greensboro. After further investigation, Porter was arrested on the charges of driving while license suspended and operating a vehicle without proper registration.
On Friday Aug. 5, while patrolling the area of North East Street, officers initiated a traffic stop where on a vehicle driven by Jaterrius Damonta Scott, 27, of Greensboro. After further investigation, Scott was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and failure to maintain lane.
On Saturday, Aug. 6, officers responded to the GPD in reference to a verbal dispute. The complainant stated that he had given a ride to Brenton Leonard Robbins, 43, of Greensboro. The complainant stated that Robbins asked him for $40, when he told him he did not have the money, Robbins began talking “crazy”. The complainant stated that he drove to the Police Department and Robbins began rambling through his vehicle. The complainant stated that Robbins opened the center console and took $5,000 cash from the console and jumped out of the vehicle and ran into the woods. Robbins was unable to be located at the time of the report. The incident was turned over to investigators.
On Saturday, Aug. 6, officers responded to the area of East Broad Street in reference to a criminal trespassing complaint on Rachel Street. The complainant stated there was a crowd of 10 people at her door and one person had a gun.
Upon the officer’s arrival, the crowd began to disperse. After further investigation, officers arrested Donte Malike Lantrez, 17, of Greensboro on the charge of criminal trespassing. Officers also issued a criminal trespassing warning to O’Morion Lorenza Heath, 19, of Sandersville for the property of the Greensboro Village.
On Saturday, Aug. 6, officers responded to Ingles located on East Broad Street in reference to a lost/mislaid property complaint. The complainant stated that she misplaced her wallet somewhere in the store containing $200, her driver’s license, and Social Security card. The incident was turned over to investigations.
For the week of July 31 through Aug. 6, the Greensboro Police Department responded to five accidents and 42 citations were issued.
