Greene County deputies arrested a Conyers man March 19 on multiple charges following a brief foot pursuit. The man also damaged a deputy’s patrol unit.

At the risk of droning on and on, information has come to light concerning another drone-related arrest by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

A White Plains man was arrested on Feb. 3 after threatening to harm his wife inside the Second Baptist Church in the area of Pittsburg Avenue and Kilpatrick Street in White Plains.

A Forest Park man was arrested on multiple charges on Jan. 31 following a traffic stop and ensuing investigation that revealed his juvenile passenger had marijuana hidden beneath her clothing.

Yet another case involving drones and drugs is being investigated by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies.

Three men who appeared to be preparing to deliver contraband to area prisons using drones were intercepted by Greene County deputies on Nov. 28 following a traffic stop. On Dec. 11, another Greene County deputy was involved in a traffic stop involving a drone.
