Briarpatch Farm to host Songwriter Night benefiting Putnam Habitat

PUTNAM COUNTY

Briarpatch Farm will host Songwriter Night on Saturday, April 18, 2026, benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Putnam and bringing the community together for an intimate evening of live music and storytelling in support of local housing.

Held inside Briarpatch Farm’s working barn, the event will feature three acclaimed Nashville songwriters sharing the stories behind their songs in a relaxed, barn-style setting. The evening celebrates the storytelling tradition of country music while raising critical funds to support safe, affordable homeownership for families in Putnam County.

Songwriter Night has become a signature gathering in the Lake Country community, known for pairing nationally recognized songwriting talent with meaningful local impact. This year marks the first time the event will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Putnam. All proceeds from the April 18 event will remain in Putnam County, helping local families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through homeownership.

“This event is about more than music; it’s about community and the belief that everyone deserves a place to call home,” said Linda Moore, Board Chair of Habitat for Humanity of Putnam. “By gathering together in a setting that reflects our rural roots, we are creating an experience that not only celebrates our shared culture but also helps build strength and stability for families in Putnam County.”
