Putnam HFH announces Carter Crossing project

During a luncheon held on May 20 at Barrel 118 in Eatonton, Habitat for Humanity of Putnam County announced the development of Carter Crossing, located in the Twin Bridges area of Putnam County, off Avant Road.

Greene, Putnam Habitat mourn Carter’s death

Greene County Habitat for Humanity and Habitat for Humanity Putnam County join the world in mourning the death of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and join observances worldwide to remember his life of service. He and Rosalynn Carter were among Habitat for Humanity’s most famous volunteers.

Habitat for Humanity holds groundbreaking in Eatonton

Habitat for Humanity of Putnam County held a groundbreaking ceremony on Sept. 25 on Standish Avenue, near Mohican Drive in Eatonton.HFH Putnam Executive Director Murali Thirumal said, “It has been a little while” since the organization started building a new house, but he hopes more will come soon.
