MCSS Class of 2025 CTAE students have 100% graduation rate

MORGAN COUNTY

Morgan County Charter Schools recently revealed a major milestone from the class of 2025, the school district’s largest graduating class to date.

The recent senior class held a 100% graduation rate among students enrolled in the school’s Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) program.

The school system published a press release on the recent graduating class’s accomplishment, describing the graduation rate as a reflection of “the collaborative efforts of administrators, teachers, students, and community partners, committed to student achievement and workforce readiness.”

The statement also noted that Morgan County's CTAE graduation rate surpassed the state’s, which is 98.45%.

MCCS Superintendent Dr. Susan Stancil shared a statement on the statistic, explaining that the school system is “incredibly proud of its students and the dedicated educators who support them every step of the way.

“This achievement reflects the strength of our CTAE programs and the meaningful, real-world opportunities they provide,” Stancil said. “Our students are graduating prepared for college, careers, the military, and beyond.”

According to the Georgia Department of Education, CTAE is designed to prepare students for various post-graduate options, offering more than 145 career pathways for students within the 17 “Georgia Career clusters.”

“CTAE opportunities are at the core of our efforts to ensure Georgia is the ‘Top State for Talent,’” said State School Superintendent Richard Woods. “These programs allow students to discover their interests and strengths, develop real-world skills, and connect learning in the classroom to high-demand careers across Georgia. This year’s CTAE graduation rate shows the continued influence of CTAE on students’ successful futures.”
