Morgan County High School celebrated Homecoming Week with a parade and a pep rally on Friday, Sept. 12, a few hours prior to the Dogs’ matchup with Cedar Shoals High School.
Students from each of the county’s schools gathered outside to watch the annual parade, featuring students from the athletics programs, and many extracurricular organizations.
The parade began at the middle and high schools’ east entrance before passing through College Drive and ending at the west entrance. Students taking part in the Fall 2025 Homecoming Court rode on top of cars to greet community members and younger students within the county.
Morgan County High School concluded the school day with a pep rally inside the gymnasium. The occasion included a celebration for the senior class with dance routines from the football and competition cheer squads.
The dance routines included appearances from a few of the Dogs’ varsity football players, and students who cheered in a girls' flag football game earlier in the week.
Morgan County defeated Cedar Shoals 46-20 later in the evening.
