GCHS grad rate rises for third-straight year

Greene County High School is celebrating another year of progress, as its combined graduation rate increased to 89.1% in 2025, up from 88.1% in 2024 and 86% in 2023.This marks the third consecutive year of improvement in the graduation rate and continues a trend of outperforming the state average.

Locals participate in second No Kings Rally

For the second time in the last four months, opponents of President Donald Trump’s policies gathered on Linger Longer Road to express their dissatisfaction.A crowd of approximately 200 protestors showed up for the June 14 No Kings Rally, but the Oct.

Morgan Medical celebrates new imaging technology

Morgan Medical Center held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 16 to celebrate the addition of the GE Healthcare Aurora SPECT/CT System at the facility. The advanced imaging technology would allow the Madison hospital to diagnose conditions more efficiently and expand its nuclear medicine services.
