Boys & Girls Club plans new year with Rowland as chair

The largest nonprofit organization in Greensboro, the Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club, is poised in the new year to bring awareness and growth to its organization.
The club serves youth in a new facility that features a gym, learning labs, afterschool care, and mentoring programs for 150 members.

Morgan County Deputies responded to the Madison Pentecostal Church on Morris Road on Jan. 25 to investigate an alarm going off.
Deputies discovered that the front door was not secure, and it appeared someone had been attempting to do work on the alarm panel.

Warrant sought for suspect who fled traffic stop

Morgan County Deputy Cameron Pound was trying to conduct a routine traffic stop on a vehicle with a malfunctioning taillight but found himself in a high-speed chase on Jan. 31 after the driver of the vehicle sped away when he exited his patrol vehicle to approach the car.
