Global Samaritans will present its 13th annual Concert at the Corry House on Sept. 13, featuring the Kinchafoonee Cowboys.The Albany-area band is named after Kinchafoonee Creek, a Georgia Flint River tributary.

Record Setter: Eatonton Expedition a huge success

With 829 tickets sold and 802 picked up at The Plaza Saturday morning, the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation’s Eatonton Expedition set a new all-time attendance record for the 51-year-old organization. Visitors arrived in Eatonton from seven states, with one couple traveling from Texas.

Lake Oconee Humane Society, formerly known as the Oconee Regional Humane Society, held its third annual “Wine, Wags and Whiskers” and 25th-anniversary celebration fundraising event Friday night at Oconee Brewery in downtown Greensboro.With Dr.

OSHM August Adventure offers ice cream and family fun

Eatonton’s Old School History Museum at The Plaza Arts Center hosted its 4th annual August Adventure on Saturday, welcoming crowds ready to enjoy some old-fashioned fun.“Our August Adventure has evolved over the years,” OSHM Director Sandra Rosseter explained.
